Backlog+2 : Damn you Gamestop!

Or I suppose my lack of self control... nah, I blame Gamestop. There's a Gamestop conveniently located right next to the Subway I eat lunch at every once and a while, and today I wandered into the Gamestop specifically to find Eternal Sonata. I don't know a lot about the game except that it's a JRPG and it was a game I've been looking at for a long time. Since I'm apparently hardcore into JRPGs again, I figured I should find a copy now while it's cheap used. I found that, but while I was there I figured I'd dig around the sad pile of PS2 and PSP games left there.

I found a beat up used copy of Dirge of Cerberus: Final Fantasy VII. It's yet another game in the FF7 continuum, along with Crisis Core (which I beat earlier this month). It's also a shooter action game, which is unlike any of the other games in the series, and as a result I expect I will either find it easy like Crisis Core, or it will be impossibly hard and have miserable controls. I know it didn't get amazing reviews, but I figured since I've already put so much time and effort into the Final Fantasy series as of late, why the hell not grab it. At least it was cheap as well.

  1. Saying you have a lack of self control is unfair to people who lack self control. They are so many levels above you ... it's a good thing you don't still work at a game store.

  2. You should check out Star Wars TOR, I've heard it's pretty awesome...
